OF SUSTAINABILITY AND DIGITALIZATION

 I ben noti sviluppi tecnologici sempre più tesi verso la digitalizzazione e le politiche operative orientati verso orizzonti di tutela dell’ecosistema, stanno portando a rapidi cambiamenti nello shipping che, soprattutto, riguardano le navi i cui requisiti e le cui performances si appalesano numerose e sofisticate. Questi nuovi scenari impongono numerose considerazioni principalmente di natura tecnica ma non solo: ciò tenendo innanzitutto in debito conto le esigenze dell’armamento proiettate nei tempi futuri, che certamente non si preannunciano facili, ma valutando al tempo stesso l’impatto che queste nuove tecnologie inevitabilmente avranno sul mondo operativo.
Il Propeller Club – Port of Genoa ha così pensato di proporre incontri in cui esperti del settore proporranno il loro punto di vista in tema di possibili sviluppi derivanti dalle nuove tecnologie e sulle implicazioni ad essi sottese.

Remote Survey : a new tool - presented by Mr. Paolo PUCCIO, BD Manger for Italy from Genoa
"ABS has been delivering remote survey services to clients since 2018 but has scaled up its portfolio during the COVID-19 pandemic to become the industry's most comprehensive set of remote services, in response to client demand. We will present an overview of the ABS portfolio of services and the requirements to take advantage of the service"
